CMP Webcast: „Is decarbonization facing the end?“

Start: 18 Nov 2025 10:00 AM
Location: Capital Market Partner-Webcasts
Organizer: Deutsche Börse Cash Market
Target Group: Issuers, Deutsche Börse Capital Market Partner

The German Climate Protection Act makes climate neutrality by 2045 mandatory – for companies, decarbonization is therefore not an option, but an obligation. Despite current regulatory uncertainties, sustainable climate management also remains a key success factor for competitiveness and investor confidence.

A recent study on sustainability reporting by Kirchhoff Consult shows:

90% of companies in the DAX40, ATX, and SMI already have a climate strategy.
More than 80% report conducting climate scenario analyses.
In the webcast, Kirchhoff Consult presents the key findings of the study, best practices from leading companies, and tools for developing a 1.5°C-compliant transition plan.

Speaker

Dr. Jan-Ole Brandt is Director ESG/Sustainability at Kirchhoff Consult and, as Cluster Lead, is responsible for the topics of climate and strategy. With over 15 years of experience, he supports companies in building effective climate strategies.

Antonia von der Beeck is a Senior Consultant at Kirchhoff Consult and assists companies from various industries in the development of sustainability strategies, ESG ratings, and reporting.

Moderator

Falko Weinert, Vice President, IPO & Growth Financing, Deutsche Börse AG
