Deutsche Börse Readiness Newsflash | Deutsche Börse Frankfurt Simulation: Dynamic instrument load

Deutsche Börse Readiness Newsflash

With this Newsflash, we would like to inform you about a new process enhancement in the Deutsche Börse Frankfurt simulation environment, as part of our ongoing commitment to provide simulation services that closely reflect production conditions.

A dynamic instrument refresh process has been introduced. During end-of-day processing, instruments may be added or removed, meaning the set of available instruments will change dynamically over time.

This update applies to all participants using the Deutsche Börse Frankfurt simulation environment. The same process will be implemented for the Deutsche Börse Xetra simulation environment in the future.

The dynamic refresh ensures the simulation environment is more closely aligned with production, supporting greater operational flexibility.

Impact and client actions

  • If you require specific instruments for critical process tests or automated scripts, please use instruments from the official exception list. Instruments on this list are excluded from the refresh process and remain generic for testing.
  • No immediate action is required unless you are using instruments not included in the exception list.

References and further information

For details and access to the exception list, please refer to the documentation on our website: T7 XETR + XFRA Exception List.

Kind regards,

Your Client Services Team
