With this Newsflash, we would like to provide you with some important information regarding the official close price dissemination on Xetra.
The T7 Functional Reference (Version 2) specifies that the Official Close Price "becomes available only after the product has entered the product state Post-Trading." This behavior was also reflected during the T7 Release 14.0 simulation which began on 1 September 2025.
Due to the introduction of Retail Late trading phase, it has been determined that the existing logic would significantly delay the official closing price in production for instruments participating in late retail trading.
To ensure the Official Close Price dissemination time will remain unchanged, the current T7 Release 14.0 system behavior will be adjusted so that the official closing price will be disseminated once a product enters the Late-Retail-Trading or Post-Trading phase (if retail trading hour extension is not scheduled for the product).
An updated version of the T7 Functional Reference (Version 3) reflecting this change has been published on the Xetra website www.xetra.com under the following link:
To support clients with their review of this adjustment, the new dissemination logic will be available in Simulation as of 19 November 2025 and can be tested on each batch day in Simulation. Please see the Simulation Calendar which outlines simulation batch days.
Change Summary:
Please note: This change in system behavior has no impact on the ETI or FIX LF interfaces. Furthermore, the XML templates for the ETI, FIX LF and Market Data interfaces remain unchanged..
