About ACATIS
ACATIS Investment Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH was founded in 1994 in Frankfurt am Main. The company's core competency is value investing based on the principles of Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett, which ACATIS has further developed in recent years under the tagline "Buffett 2.0." Today, ACATIS manages equity, balanced, and bond funds, as well as individual mandates.
The new ACATIS Altersvorsorgedepot UCITS ETF is the company's first active ETF. The majority of the funds are classified as sustainable according to the criteria of Article 8 or 9 of the EU's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). In 2022, ACATIS was named the most sustainable investment boutique for the second consecutive time by the magazine €uro (based on data from Mountain View).
The flagship fund, ACATIS Aktien Global Fonds, was launched in 1997. ACATIS has always been receptive to new trends. For several years, the company has been working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in portfolio management. The first practical application of AI at ACATIS occurred in 2016. The newly launched active ETF continues this tradition of advancing new concepts (active ETF) while combining them with proven methods (value investing and AI).
The managing directors of ACATIS are Dr. Hendrik Leber (Portfolio Management, named Fund Manager of the Year in 2017), Dr. Claudia Giani-Leber (Marketing and PR), and Thomas Bosch (Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, and Administration). The company manages assets of approximately 8.8 billion EUR (as of April 30, 2026).
