15 Years ago, trading of the first two ETFs on the indexes EURO STOXX 50 and Stoxx Europe 50 started at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange FWB. Since then the number of ETFs tradable in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment has exceeded 1060 products, offering the largest ETF range in Europe. Average monthly turnover in ETFs today accounts for roughly EUR 16 billion, with an overall trading volume of EUR 135.7 billion last year.
