Edgar Walk
Edgar Walk has been with Metzler since the year 2000. As Chief Economist in Asset Management, he is responsible for the economic forecasts. Due to his close cooperation with portfolio management, he focuses on capital market topics in addition to economic analysis.
Before joining Metzler, Walk studied economics with an emphasis on the regional studies of Eastern Asia and Japan, deepening his knowledge in a semester at Doshisha University in Kyoto (Japan). At the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, he subsequently graduated from the postgraduate programme “Advanced Studies in International Economic Policy Research”.
