Dr. Christoph Hott

After obtaining his doctorate in economics, Hott (born 17 April 1961) worked in the economics department of Deutsche Bundesbank for several years. During this time, the focus of his work was on money supply control.

He then joined Deutsche Bank AG as Deputy Chief Investment Officer in the private banking segment, where he was most recently responsible for investment product management.

From 1999 to 2007, Hott headed the group responsible for investment strategy for private customers at Sal. Oppenheim. Based on the asset management bank’s investment strategy, the group develops and implements individual private banking solutions. In 2007, Hott took over the division Alternative Investments at Sal. Oppenheim.

On 1 March 2011, he joined UBS as Head of Investment Management – Germany.
