1. Introduction
With this circular, we would like to inform you about changes to the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme Agreement effective from 2 September 2019 until 28 February 2020. The changes relate to the inclusion of MDAX60 shares in the existing Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme for a pilot phase from 2 September 2019 until 28 February 2020.
2. Requirements for participation
For existing Xetra Liquidity Providers, the Trader IDs which are already registered for the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme will automatically be considered for liquidity provisioning in MDAX60 shares.
New Xetra Liquidity Providers have to sign the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme Agreement and register the Trader IDs for liquidity provisioning at least three trading days prior to the calendar month of the beginning of their activity.
3. Details
Please refer to the attached Annex A for the requirements for liquidity provisioning and refund of Xetra transaction fees valid for MDAX60 shares during the pilot phase.
The regulations for DAX30 shares, which are also included in Annex A, are not affected by the enhancement of the programme and will remain unchanged. We will inform you in due course about the scope and the conditions of the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme effective after 28 February 2020.
The existing Annex A to the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme Agreement is herewith be revoked from 2 September 2019 until 28 February 2020 and replaced by the attached Annex A. The new Annex A to the Xetra Liquidity Provider Programme Agreement is regarded as approved unless the Xetra Liquidity Provider files objections with Deutsche Börse AG, Mergenthalerallee 61, 65760 Eschborn, in writing within one week after the announcement.
