Who we are
Eisenführ Speiser has been advising clients in all areas of intellectual property law for over 50 years. At our four offices in Bremen, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg, over 300 employees, including more than 70 patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law, enforce legal claims in the field of intellectual property for our national and international clients and a strong focus on hidden champions.
A strong commitment to service and the ability to translate great technical and legal expertise into high-quality advice have always been the driving force behind the successful development of Eisenführ Speiser. These values were already practiced by Günther Eisenführ and Dieter Speiser in the early years of our law firm, founded in Bremen in 1966.
Our claim is entrepreneurial thinking. For us, intellectual property is an integral part of a company's assets, the strategic and appropriate use of which contributes to the realization of economic goals.
What we do
Traditionally strong in IP prosecution, Eisenführ Speiser has built up an excellent reputation as a litigation law firm over the last two decades. Our team conducts proceedings before all German and European courts as well as before the new Unified Patent Court and coordinates extensive campaigns and license negotiations in parallel in several jurisdictions.
Successfully shaping the framework conditions for the generation of new ideas and their utilization in successful products and services requires legal expertise as an integral part of innovation management. Eisenführ Speiser's range of services includes advising on innovation processes, identifying and assessing opportunities and risks under intellectual property law (patent landscape, prior art, freedom to operate) and evaluating ideas from an intellectual property perspective. Eisenführ Speiser is a one-stop-shop boutique for all IP matters.
What makes us different
Innovation has been a top priority at Eisenführ Speiser from the very beginning. We are pioneers among German IP law firms in the digitalization of office processes. We were the first German IP law firm to introduce electronic case management. Office processes and file management have been fully digitalized since 2011. Since 2014, we have been offering our clients the opportunity to access all IP-related correspondence electronically, thereby significantly reducing their own documentation workload. As a "smart IP office", we are thus cultivating new forms of collaboration with our clients, accelerating the exchange of documents with the patent offices and courts and at the same time strengthening the cross-location organization and collaboration in our law firm.
